Agreement between you and Orkai for use of the orkai software.
These terms govern your purchase and use of orkai, sold by Orkai through Polar as merchant of record. By purchasing or using orkai, you agree to these terms.
1. License grant
Subject to payment and activation, Orkai grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to run the orkai binary on the number of devices allowed by your license tier (see sections 2–4). A device is bound at activation time via a privacy-preserving fingerprint described in our Privacy policy.
2. Trial licenses
A free trial provides full product access for seven (7) days on one device, with no offline grace after expiry. When the trial ends, gated commands require a paid license key.
3. Single-device licenses
A single-device license is a one-time payment of USD $49.99 for perpetual use of the version line purchased, on one device, including one (1) year of software updates from the purchase date.
4. Three-device licenses
A three-device license is a one-time payment of USD $99 for perpetual use of the version line purchased, on up to three (3) personal devices, including one (1) year of software updates from the purchase date. After that year, your licensed version continues to work; optional major-version upgrades may be offered separately.
5. Restrictions
- You may not redistribute, resell, or publicly host the orkai binary.
- You may not circumvent license activation or device binding.
- You may not exceed your tier's simultaneous activation limit (1 or 3 devices).
- Reverse engineering is prohibited except where applicable law expressly allows it.
6. Updates
Paid purchases include updates released within twelve (12) months of purchase. We do not force upgrades; older versions remain usable under the license granted at purchase time.
7. Refunds
Payments are processed by Polar as merchant of record. Refunds and chargebacks follow Polar's buyer terms and the policy shown at checkout for your jurisdiction. Contact Polar through your receipt for payment disputes; contact support@getorkai.com for product support.
8. Disclaimer
orkai is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. You are responsible for backups of your local data and for how you use AI tools connected via MCP.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Orkai's total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of orkai is limited to the amount you paid for the license giving rise to the claim in the twelve (12) months before the claim.
